William Larry Partridge

Hephzibah, GA –        William Larry Partridge, 79, peacefully entered into his eternal rest Friday afternoon, January 14, 2022. Services to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday afternoon, January 21, 2022 at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Wren and Rev. John Beck officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Because of the family’s respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed.  The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.

Born July 1, 1942 on Ridge Road in Leah GA, he was the 11th of 12 children.  William met the love of his life, Jane Montgomery in 1958, graduated from Evans High School and the two married in 1961. He spent the last 15 of his working years driving tour buses for local companies, the last being Lewis Bus Lines.  William devoted 25 years of his life to traveling and singing Southern Gospel music around the CSRA.  He loved his Lord and Savior, actively serving Him at Hephzibah Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Annie Lou Holsenback Partridge and Ernest Jefferson Partridge, William is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth “Jane” Montgomery Partridge; sons, Derek (Anne), Larry, David (Rhonda), and Trey (Cara); daughters, Tammy and Brittney; grandchildren, John (Candi), Amanda Brookins (John), Alicia Atencio, Josh, Jazmine, and Jared Moore; and great grandchildren, Trip, Ben Trotter, Maddux, Marlee, Duke, Tinley Wyatt, Jaxon, Mi’Kayla, Andrew, Frenandeise, Santanis, Addyson, Noah, Millie, Caleb, Carleigh, Arya, Dani, and another on the way.  The Deacons of Hephzibah Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
