Lynda Price

Gibson, GA.  – After a long, hard-fought battle with cancer, Lynda Karol Prescott Price, 58, loving wife of 39 years to Drew Price, entered into rest Tuesday evening, October 30, 2012 at her residence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The only child of Frances Wren Prescott and the late Johnny Prescott, Lynda was raised in Louisville and moved to Gibson after marrying her soul mate and the love of her life. She was a medical assistant and transcriptionist employed by Jefferson Hospital.  She enjoyed reading and riding motorcycles, especially in the mountains. She also loved her pets—Sheba and Odie. Lynda was a private, strong-willed person whose faith sustained her. Her daily mantra was "I am going to have a good day today and I am going to enjoy my life today here because I am strong, and positive, and determined, and I will survive today!"

The family extends their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. David Squires, Jane Bland, Sue Lattimer and Odyssey Hospice for the loving, compassionate care and for all they did to make her last years as pleasant as possible.
