Debra Jane Dixon

Debra Jane Dixon, 73, of Toccoa GA, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Lovingly known as Debbie, she was born and grew up in Augusta where she graduated from Butler High School in 1971. She devoted her life working in various law enforcement and EMT positions.

Debbie was preceded by in death by her parents, Joyce Rooks Dixon and Lee Roy Dixon Jr.; maternal grandparents Pauline Faglier Rooks and James Rooks; paternal grandparents, Ada Bell Rhodes Dixon and Lee Roy Dixon Sr.; as well as many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her uncle, Bob Dixon of North Augusta SC; her aunt, Ivelyn Gibson of Weatherford TX; and many cousins and other extended family.

A graveside service will be held at Waldens Church at 11:00AM Friday, September 25, 2026.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Ken Ridley and his wife, the late Jane Ridley, for the love and care they gave Debbie. No one could have asked for better friends.
