Andy O’Neal Prickett

Wrens, GA  –              Andy O’Neal Prickett, 55, entered into his eternal rest Monday afternoon, February 19, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning, February 24, 2017 in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Johnson officiating.

One of four children born to Betty Jean Prickett and the late Bobby O’Neal Prickett, Andy was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, attending Wrens Elementary and High School. He was mechanically inclined and loved working on cars.   He was employed by Mighty Brake and Automotive for many years, but also worked at his home on vehicles of his family and friends.  Andy worked hard and he played hard. He enjoyed the beach and especially loved visiting Tybee Island.  When the weather permitted, he loved riding his motorcycle. Many weekends had him and his brother, Pat, on riding bikes together.  He had a quiet, laid-back demeanor and loved being with his family.

Andy is also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Regina Lockamy. Other survivors include his four children, Tiffany H. Barggs (Scirocco), Codi Prickett (Victoria), Holly Lockamy and Royalty Prickett; his three siblings, Pat Prickett, Paula Utley (Michael) and Lynn Zeigler (Lee); five grandchildren, London Edwards, Zaedon Barggs, Alexis Prickett, Liam Prickett and Michael Lockamy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Because of their unexpected loss, the family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made directly to James Funeral Home, P.O. Box 588, Wrens GA 30833 to defray funeral costs.

The family will receive friends at the graveside after services Saturday morning, February 24, 2018.
